: Aircraft and avionics retrofitting firm A-Sonic Aerospace is expanding
into aircraft sale and leaseback.
It
announced on Tuesday that it has completed the sale of two narrow-bodied
Boeing planes and expects to wrap up the sale of a third one by
end November this year.
The
total sale price of the three aircraft is S$12.2 million.
Just
last week, A-Sonic said its bid to invest in Australian low-cost
carrier SkyWest was back on track, after regulators in that country
gave the go-ahead for a takeover.
Aircraft
sale and leaseback would be one more business A-Sonic could do with
the budget carrier. - CNA
